The room at Der Waldkater was cozy and had a homey feel to it. I loved the comfortable bed and the fact that there was free WiFi. It was great to catch up on some Netflix after a long day of exploring.

Personally, I found the bathtub a bit small for my liking. But hey, some people might actually enjoy a cozy soak!

Beautiful hotel up in the woods in the hills of rinteln. We stayed as a special treat for my birthday as I was born in rinteln and not been back since. The rooms and setting are excellent. You get what you pay for. THE BEER FROM THE HOTEL BREWERY IS BRILLIANT. RECOMMEND A 2 LITRE BOTTLE.

Dinner menu a little bit limited on number of meals available. I know it is a posh hotel but a few smaller snack options would have been nice. But this is probably more down to me not being used to expensive places !

The staff! They are all brilliant! The location is superb. The on site brewery has some of the best beer a available.

I thought having to pay for the bottle of water in the rooms as a little unnecessary

we stayed at a hotel in a lovely location, surrounded by a forest and overlooking a beautiful valley. The rooms were recently renovated to a high standard and the dinner served was excellent. We were impressed with the secure underground garage and the staff went above and beyond by cleaning our car windows and lights. we had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The breakfast and the location were the best aspects of my stay. The breakfast had good options of sausage, bacon, and bread. The location was situated in a quiet and scenic area, which made it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The hotel's parking facilities were also very convenient.

The hotel lacked free Wi-Fi which is currently unacceptable for a hotel of this level. We had to use our own data which was expensive. Additionally, the rooms had no tea or coffee-making facilities, which made it difficult for us to enjoy a hot beverage before starting our day. I feel that the hotel needs to improve its amenities to satisfy their guests.
